Open Alumni Chapel Hour

The University of New Mexico offers an Open Alumni Chapel Hour as a monthly opportunity for students to step away from the pace of the day and spend time in quiet reflection.

Open Chapel takes place on the third Tuesday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. During this time, the UNM Alumni Chapel is open to students who want a calm, welcoming space for silent reflection, meditation, prayer, or other personal spiritual or faith-based practices.

This effort is a collaboration between the UNM Inter-Religious Council, the UNM Alumni Association, and partners within the Division of Student Affairs, all working together to support student well-being and create space for diverse spiritual expression.

Students are welcome to come and go as their schedule allows. No sign-up is needed.
