Student Health Leadership Council

A student group, known as SHLC, of undergraduate and graduate students in various disciplines focused on peer advocacy and improving student health resources.

Absence Notifications

The LoboRESPECT Advocacy Center facilitates faculty communication for student absences longer than five (5) days.

Lobo Food Pantry

A free resource for all currently enrolled Lobos! The Lobo Food Pantry features fresh foods, shelf-stable items, and personal care products. The Pantry is donation-based and offers volunteer opportunities, too!

Domestic Partnerships

Domestic partners are eligible for certain benefits at UNM, similar to those provided to married spouses and their dependents. This service is facilitated by the LoboRESPECT Advocacy Center.

IMPACT: Leadership and Mentorship Program

First-year and transfer students are paired with upper-level students meet weekly to work on professional development, educational success, and personal growth.

Lobo Wellness

Learn how to manage your physical and nutritional health with SHAC’s Lobo Wellness programming.

Lobo Balance

Learn how to manage stress and improve your coping skills with SHAC’s Lobo Balance workshops and events.

Workshops @ SHAC

SHAC offers tons of workshops each semester designed to help you establish boundaries, practice mindfulness, survive midterms/finals, and more.

Collegiate Recovery Center

The Collegiate Recover Center offers peer-led and peer-organized support for students seeking addiction and substance use recovery support. The center is open to UNM and CNM students.

Recreational Services

Recreational Services – also known as Rec Services – runs UNM’s gym and aquatic facilities and offers student-centered programming such as intramural and club sports, inclusive recreation events, the Outdoor Adventure Center, Lobo Bike Shop, etc.

Asian American and Pacific Islander Resource Center

The Asian American and Pacific Islander Resource Center (AAPIRC) offers programs, resources, and events that build community for AAPI Lobos.

LGBTQ Resource Center

The LGBTQ Resource Center supports the UNM community via education, advocacy, events, and student groups. The Center is open to LGBTQQIA student, staff, and faculty community.

El Centro de la Raza

El Centro de la Raza is one of UNM’s ethnic and cultural centers. El Centro offers academic guidance, scholarship resources, community-building events, and more for Latino students at UNM.

Women's Resource Center

The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) offers a ton of free services, including counseling services*, confidential advocacy*, a computer pod with free printing, universal restroom, and interactive workshops.

Fraternity & Sorority Life

UNM has over 21 men’s and women’s Greek life organizations dedicated to leadership, service, and community.

American Indian Student Services

American Indian Student Services (AISS) provides student services, connection to scholarships, events, and integrated advisement for Native students at UNM.
